Information we process

• Account details provided through Google sign-in, such as your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier.
• Goals, quests, tasks, schedules, task responses, skill ratings, completion history, and progress you record.
• Messages sent to the AI assistant, its responses, and related task context and usage records.
• Technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as session identifiers, IP addresses, browser details, time zone, and error logs.
• Information you send us when asking for support.

You can try a first step before signing in. The goal and responses you submit during that trial are still processed and stored to provide the experience.

How we use it

We use this information to sign you in, save your work, generate useful next steps, track progress, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and diagnose failures. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in maintaining and securing it, legal obligations, or consent where applicable.

AI processing

When you use AI features, we send your messages and relevant goal, task, or progress context to our AI service providers, including DeepSeek. This also happens when the app prepares a first step or assesses completed work. Providers process that information under their own terms and privacy policies. Avoid entering secrets or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your task.

Service providers and sharing

Google provides sign-in and website analytics. Supabase hosts our application database, and Vercel hosts the web app. Our hosting and AI providers process information needed to deliver their services. Paddle processes payment and billing information as Merchant of Record under its Privacy Notice. We do not store full payment card details.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the service. Providers may process data outside your country, subject to applicable data protection requirements.

Analytics

Google Analytics runs when you visit and receives the page path without its query string, referring site, browser and device details, and approximate location derived from your connection. We disable advertising signals and do not send your account identity, goals, tasks, or AI conversations. You can limit analytics through your browser settings or Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Cookies and browser storage

We use cookies to maintain sign-in, connect your first-step trial to your session, and measure site usage. Browser storage may keep draft answers and interface preferences. You can clear these through your browser settings, though doing so may sign you out or remove unsaved drafts.

Retention and security

We keep account and work records while needed to provide the service. Support, security, usage, and any billing records may be retained as needed for resolving issues, preventing fraud, and meeting legal obligations. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups. We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect information, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your work in the app. To request access, correction, a copy of your information, or account deletion, email amanmamgain9@gmail.com from your account address. We may ask you to verify ownership. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority.

The account’s full reset clears workspace progress; it does not delete your sign-in account. Contact us for account deletion.

Age and updates

Play This Life is intended for adults aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us. We will publish changes to this policy here with an updated effective date.
